There are literally dozens of people in Manzanillo claiming to be
"scuba instructors." They are not. Your life is in danger when you
dive with a non-certified individual. Ask to see a credential. Don't
fall for the beach guy, as slick as some of them are, or the guy
teaching at the pool who claims to be an "instructor." If he really is
one, he'll have the credentials to prove it. The card should read
"Instructor" and nothing else. If you meet anyone in Manzanillo who
claims to "work for," or "work with" Susan Dearing or Carlos
Cuellar, or uses other similar terms, suggesting that they are part of
the Underworld Scuba/Scuba Shack team, please call us for
verification, 333-3678, Don't just blindly trust your life to
a person you don't know.
